Catherine is a foodservice management specialist with over 25 years experience in healthcare foodservices. Catherine assumes project management responsibility for Food Systems Consulting Inc. Pacific Rim projects.

She works with clients to ensure accuracy and completeness of data during the information gathering phase of projects, analyzes data, contributes to the development of draft reports and recommendations, and maintains close communications with the project participants.

Southern California

Participated in a Shared Services Study of 14 hospitals in Southern California with responsibility for data compilation and food systems options analysis.

Riverview Hospital
Port Coquitlam, B.C.

Project Co-ordinator for a study to identify opportunities to improve the quality of meal service experiences for 800 mental patients and to identify alternate meal delivery styles. Gathered information and analyzed data, participated in stakeholder meetings, liaised with client, and contributed to development of reports and recommendations.

Sault Area Hospitals
Sault Ste. Marie, ON

Served as Interim Manager for 4 months in a department providing foodservices to 335 patients on 2 sites. Provided Project Co-ordination for the implementation of a cold-plating system and completion of renovations to create a new Foodservices Center.

Atlantic Healthcare Corporation
Saint John, NB

During the transition from contract management to self-operation provided Interim Management of the Nutrition and Foodservices department at the Saint John Regional Hospital, a 600 bed tertiary facility. During that period, coordinated planning for the conversion to cold-plating and alternate meal service styles in preparation for the implementation of a shared outsourced foodservice system.
